Two Unidentified Shared Synth Tracks - MétéoMédia & The Weather Network (1995–1996)

Hello,

I have been searching for these tracks for the better part of 18 years. There are others I suspect the network used from the same unidentified source, also.

I am trying to identify two vintage production music tracks used across Pelmorex networks (The Weather Network / MétéoMédia) in Canada during the mid-1990s. Both share a distinct, unregistered late-80s/early-90s synthesizer style that completely slips past YouTube Content ID and Shazam. Given the era and market, they likely originate from a legacy physical CD catalog distributed in Canada at the time by The Music People Ltd.

Track 1 (Summer 1995): Aired on August 1, 1995, during a 1-minute shared nationwide local forecast block on French sister station, Meteo Media. It features a bright, rhythmic FM synth bassline and sweeping poly-synth chords.

Track 2 (Winter 1995/1996): This track was used as the thematic background loop for the seasonal Ski Conditions Report on the  English station, The Weather Network. It features a voiceover for the first 15 seconds over a sparse arrangement, before transitioning into a full synth-brass variation. The song completes at 30 seconds, followed by a similar track (alt version, etc) to complete the final 10 seconds of the 40 second report, with a fade-out, indicating the second track was longer (not a stinger, etc).

Crucially, these tracks (along with a few other missing synth tracks from this specific era) have never been identified by the weather network archiving fandom. It heavily implies they belong to an obscure library volume that was never digitized for modern streaming databases, or they exist as unindexed commercial short/underscore cue variants on the original physical discs.

If anyone has the 1995/1996 Pelmorex CRTC cue sheets, or recognizes these specific synth configurations from catalogs like Sonoton (Vanguard), Omnimusic or Bruton, please let me know the library codes, album names, or track titles; however, I do feel that these tracks aren’t digitally archived.
