I personally remastered the audio of this great vinyl in high quality by removing clicks/pops/background noise and improving the EQ.

Dear Mr Brickwall, upon a quick reading of your post I assumed that

(1) you are in possession of this record,
(2) you recorded it yourself on your record player, probably to PCM format,
(3) you edited the recording into a state which you consider a sonic improvement by automatically de-clicking and de-noising it and reducing its dynamic range, using an audio program,
(3) you then encoded the PCM to FLAC.

I suppose that these assumptions are precisely those which you intended to create in readers.

It is, however, unlikely that the first two of them correspond to reality.

Consider the spectral analysis of track 8 (FLAC, as you uploaded it):



(I have photoshopped Spek screenshots a bit to make loudnesses more apparent, particularly of the high-frequency noise.)

On a first glance, this audio file seems to have been created by transcoding a low-quality MP3 file (the hard cut-off at 16 kHz, for example, is typical of MP3 files with bitrates of 192 kbit/s or less) to FLAC. But if one takes a closer look this cannot be the whole story, because there is high-frequency noise between 19 and 22 kHz present that an MP3 encoder would discard.

Consider the spectral that results by transcoding the FLAC file of track 8 to 320 kbit/s MP3:



The high-frequency noise is largely gone.

Even the gold standard of lossy audio encoding -- Ogg Vorbis with 500 kbit/s -- does not fully capture that noise:



This means that the audio file of track 8 you posted cannot be the result of a direct transcoding of a lossy source file. I now think that you worked not with files created by you, but that you received them from elsewhere.

And whilst "improving" these sound files (and thereby almost certainly disimproving them, if you actually did it at all), did you not notice the issues with track 8? And furthermore, that tracks 10 and 12 have the same problem?

If you wish to give an explanation, I'll be rather interested.
