I was up late one night several days ago, and suddenly it struck me to check soulseek and see whether any true lossless rips I Marc 4's estimable Nelson Records releases had appeared. Amazingly, my instincts were solid! One user had these three from 1970, which I quickly grabbed, then verified their authenticity by viewing spectrals and comparing them with other releases, namely those sanctioned by S.M.E. (you know the one), who previously released them digitally in such poor quality.
These, I'm happy to announce, are genuine vinyl rips with no transcoding funny business! Many thanks to the soulseek user who shared them with me. I did inquire if they wished to be credited, but got no reply, so this soulseeker will remain anonymous, unless they choose to step forward at some point. I have also added some tags, for those who like to be organized.
Of the three, I think my favorite is 1002, composed by Paolo Renosto, AKA Lesiman, but all have their share of highlights, and that inimitable sound which makes these guys so worthily cult-famous! Enjoy, friends....
