Yes I agree with you, I have also a rip of the original LP from 1977, and I also noticed this difference.
I don't know which is the right one, but personnaly I prefer the reissue. By the way, one more was recently released by The Great Thunder (this year).

I''ve gone for years with a corrupted rip of ZL 39113. Suddenly, there's multiple versions of SP 10065 being available.

The challenge now is to determine which 16-44 or 24-44 version is best for me.

If I'm unable to determine which sounds best, perhaps I should just keep both until I learn how to determine which rip/s are better, acoustically. I'm inching dangerously close to the edge of my own audio expertise, which can be summed up on a book of matches    But I'll give it a good try, anyway.

These are all "good" problems to have, so I can't complain. And yet, sometimes bitching just feels so good, am I right?

Thank you both, Cratedigga and Pumi for supplying the musical sources my confusion.

Lastly, thanks to Stack for getting me to chase my tail with his questions. "It's ALL your fault!"
