Dimension Music Library
« on: Today at 02:12:35 AM »
Owned by 27th Dimension Inc./Roland St. John Hanneman (ASCAP).

This is rare library from Florida (the mailing address being from Jupiter and Okeechobee)

The library's composers are usually Roland St. John Hanneman, Gregg Drzewicki, and Steve Quinzi.

The Gold Series heavily uses a Yamaha DX7 and an Oberheim DX drum machine, and also floppy disk samples for E-MU Emulator II. Some tracks use holophonics, a binaural recording processed developed by Hugo Zuccarelli which is also used in the Dimension Sound Effects Library released in 1987.

Also, some of the tracks can be found on Sound Ideas' Mix Broadcast Library but under different titles.

Thanks to musictheorist for this info on the label. Check that post out here for more information and tracklistings as well as some samples.

Thank you to my friend Khori who provided these albums.

It seems from musictheorist's post that not much is really known about this label. Other than some basic info and some youtube videos seemingly. These albums came from Retromatic's musrc site when access was still possible. These albums are all very short and if I'm being honest not very exciting. But why not.

Thanks man, I appreciate the upload. Good thing i still have those a couple years ago. I could be the one who has one, but oh well, it's alright. Anyway, thanks BWP and Khori for that. :)

Also, i'm looking for these specific Dimension album that were missing (or completely lost in time). So here are some:

LP/CD 1009 - Dimension Gold 9 - Nursery - Swing - Logos - Electronic
CD 3001 - Dimension Platinum 1 - Sports - Pop & Jazz
CD 3009 - Dimension Platinum 9 - (unknown title)
CD 3010 - Dimension Platinum 10 - Medium Industrial - Urban Dance
CD 4006 - Dimension Champion 6 - Contempory & Pop
CD 4009 - Dimension Champion 9 - (unknown title)
CD 4010 - Dimension Champion 10 - (unknown title)

I would be very grateful if someone might happen to have one of these. But that's fine if not found yet, i'm just waiting. ;) :D

(Fun Fact: Dimension's Champion albums were actually from American Image [in which these libraries from American Image were also on my wishlist].)
