LPs used on BBC Hi Living trade test tape
« on: February 15, 2026, 12:49:58 PM »
Hi, this is a long shot, but does anyone have lossless albums of the material used on Hi Living from 1983? It was a compilation from Frank Chacksfield, and the performers I'm looking for are:

Bill Shepherd Keyboard Ensemble (incl. the title track)
Dean Whitney Group (aka DW Express)
Delle Haensch Band (Incl. Shuffle Board)
Wolfgang Thoma Orchestra (incl. Alto Tensao)
Herbert Rehbein and his Music (incl. This Was A Good Day)

Sorry, I only have this tape in MP3 which I think I took off YT some 13 years ago. If you could let me know which albums the tracks are from I can scour my collection to see if I have any lossless copies.

Sorry nidostar but the only LP I can name is the Herbert Rehbein one, which is called Beautiful Morning. None of the others I've listed are named or given numbers in any listing I've seen.

I already have a good copy of the tape itself. I was looking for the rest of the material from those albums if anyone was able to help.
