Can Anyone Identify These Selections?
« on: December 28, 2025, 12:19:09 AM »
Hello, everyone:

I am an amateur music conoisseur, and I was wondering if anyone could identify a few background tracks featured in the documentary The New Solar System.  The credits name Gene Michael Productions and Capitol Production Music (now Ole Georg Music) with the music used, and this helped with identifying most of the tracks.  However, some of them have escaped my efforts at identifying them alone.

If any of you recognize the tracks playing at the timestamps mentioned below, can you please let me know, and also direct me to where I can access the full composition(s)?  I would appreciate it immensely.

A link to the documentaryhttps://archive.org/details/TheNewSolarSystemAnEpicAdventure

Timestamps

Mystery Track 1:  4:55-5:29, 35:04-36:30

Mystery Track 2:  24:42-26:01, 43:25-44:09

Mystery Track 3:  45:57-46:34

Mystery Track 4:  47:47-48:47

Mystery Track 5:  50:27-50:57

Also, if it is not too much to ask, can anyone please identify the organist who played the rendition of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach that plays in the timestamp below?  Much obliged.

BWV 565:  55:55-56:59

This should be on "Track ID" section.

The five unknown tracks you mentioned are all from “Ole Georg Music.”

Fortunately, having shared most of “Ole Georg Music”

Because I'm from China.

I found them in a warehouse in Beijing that collects CDs.

There was a collection of 85% of the label's CDs, most of which I had digitized and shared in the forums before

Much obliged to you.  I suspected most of them came from Ole Georg Music.  If anyone can identify the organist playing Toccata and Fugue at the end of the documentary, I would appreciate it just as much.  I know it can be hard to identify, as there are so many renditions out there.

Actually, it's also from “Ole Georg Music.”

From their classical music series of albums

I take it the renditions of Strauss' Tales From the Vienna Woods waltz (40:30-41:37) and Beethoven's Fur Elise (41:37-42:50) are also from Ole Georg Music?

Unfortunately, I don't have any CDs of the “Classical (The Green Line)” series.

Until January 2025, the albums in the series will be available for sampling on "Fable Music"

But now the proxy has been canceled.

But I'm guessing someone's cached the music before, so you can look in the “requests” section and see if anyone's gonna give it to you.
