Does Anyone Have The Gerhard Trede Around The World Collection?
« on: November 17, 2025, 10:04:33 PM »
Posted this on the wrong channel, my apologies.

It's as the title says: looking for any of these if anyone has them, I already have GT-8 but would love to listen to the others if anyone's got download links. Specifically GT-21 but I don't think that one's been ripped yet.

Is this the collection you are after? (I'd normally post a link, but you have to be logged in to see the page)

EDIT: I'm going to assume that's what you meant. Here is the collection. Yes, GT-21 is included.

GT-2 is out of print. SCD 208 is the same thing, but unfortunately it is mono. There is a stereo version that was shared some time back but it is only 128kbps mp3. The good news is that mp3 as a codec has gotten a LOT better in the last 10 years and the rip sounds perfectly fine to my old ears. I did reupload the GT-2 rip to PD as Transfer.it gave me a file that Chrome flagged for being dangerous.

Yes, thank you so very much! I was specifically looking for GT-21 because one of the tracks "My Dream Is A World Without Pain" had been rereleased a while ago under the "Optimist" album of supposedly "unreleased" songs – but I knew the title sounded familiar. Another one on my radar was "Beguine" from GT-19 as it's one of two songs in the CBS — EZQ-173 LP of his that I quite liked, although there the name was "Latin Like Love" with thhe other being "This Way Out" (but I'm unsure if that one's ever even been rereleased).

Sorry for my rambling, but thanks again!
