Hi Sharon. Do the TCC not have this as its likely members from here like myself would obtain that info from them. If not, ask on their FB page

Hi Tony
Sadly no details about BBC2 Tape A has ever come to light
A copy of Tape A was produced by the late lamented Malcolm O'Neill in conjunction with Paul Sawtell, Mickey's Cha cha cha but it's nothing like the original
I'm told the original BBC2 Tape A was a Classical tape

I fear this will remain one of life's little mysteries since the TCC website itself has a big fat question mark against the name for Tape A. It was only played during April and May 1964 so, in itself and compared with other tapes of the time, it may have been fairly unremarkable. But who knows. Maybe someone at the TCC or the Beeb might stumble across some further info on this elusive tape.

Interesting. If that's the case might there be a corresponding entry on the PasB log for that day?

I’m sure I wouldn't have been the first to suggest that. Just a shame it didn't help.
