Thanks once again to Retronic for the 4 additional titles that are required by most.

It's interesting that both 064 and 065 are in stereo despite not having the 'S', that we've becomes accustomed to in the slightly later titles that denote a stereo recording.  Presumably, the stickers applied were specifically for stereo versions of these titles?

Interestingly enough, it's not a complete surprise as many of the MELP albums must have stereo equivalent tracks somewhere, due to some of them being part of trade test tapes in stereo.  One can only assume the recordings used to put the tapes together were taken from stereo masters prior to the tracks used on MELP titles being converted to mono, for whatever reason.  still, we can't complain!   ;D

I guess the vinyl LPs were for ‘audition purposes’ and if producers wanted to use a track they would request a copy on reel to reel tape.

I suspect you're right. When delving through the LMT archives recently I came across a collection of Chappell albums all with the prefix "CV" but referencing vinyl releases in the LPC series. Many of the vinyl releases were originally in mono but these were in stereo. The "CV" I presume is for Chappell Vaults? Much like the JW Media digital stereo releases are JW Vaults with a JWV prefix. By the way, a belated thank you neowave for your generous share.

Thank you so much friend, they'll keep me busy (and happy) this weekend.
