Hello to all, here is a jazz album produced by Aldo Sinesio for Fly Record.
It was composed by Franco Goldani, recorded at Sound Workshop Studio and released on the Roman Record Company label after Gino Marinacci had won the Armstrong International Award at the Venice Music Festival in 1971 for being the best Italian jazz musician.
At that time Gino Marinacci studied a new technique for overlapping three different types of flute, above all the bass flute, which was an astonishing experience we can hear on this album.
In 1972 he conceived "Amico Flauto", a wonderful television show in four episodes.
Atom's Flower contains some tracks which were played during that show (Atom's Flower, Walking Moon). The album, which was published with two different covers during the same year, is very interesting, especially for those who love the flute. Marinacci arranged and played beautiful jazz music with funk, rock, latin and progressive influences.
Although it was not conceived as a library album, it sounds as a wonderful library album indeed.
The band includes Antonello Vannucchi, Maurizio Majorana, Roberto Podio, Dino Piana, Giovanni Tommaso and many others.
The album Amico Flauto, which was released in 1972 on Idea label, must be interesting too.

Thanks to the original uploader. Enjoy!
