I'll pull the catalogues out- they're seen here:

I wrote about my lifelong love of the DOTD score here:

Ah!  Yes I remember you from the Dawn FB group.  We have a mutual friend of Chris Stavrakis.  He's the one that let me know about the missing timpani hits from Dawn that may have come from you.  I've been talking to him about those missing Crazies cues.  I'm also thinking those cues actually may be from the Capitol Hi-Q series.  Even though they were used in Night, they were Karl Hardman's records, not Georges.  But they sound more like Capitol than DeWolfe and I think with the missing LPs, It's HIGHLY unlikely they'll be on those records.

I had the same thought about Capitol.  There’s a big thread on here with loads of vintage dramatics on them.  Yes, the timpani I found by accident after looking for years on anything that had Timp or Solo Drum.  I was flicking through looking for something else and there it was 😍
I have a stash of Media Music/ Capitol but no catalogue.  I did check a Major Valentino catalogue for a Johnny or Banjo but didn’t see anything likely. Many catalogue’s have a ‘Well Known Tunes’ section which can prove helpful.

I have a friend of mine (he's the one that put together the Waxworks Night/Dawn compilations) who's really into Capitol's library and has been actively archiving them.  He had sent me a Capitol catalogue and I thought I should look in there.  I DID find a cue for "Johnny Comes Marching Home" but it isn't the same cue, since it was big and orchestral.  So I'm back to square one!

I do have a good relationship with Mike Gornick.  Ill ask him about those cues and he may have some ideas, since he was basically the guy that found the DeWolfe cues that George ultimately used in Dawn.  He's the one that found the Gonk!  He had insinuated that those timpani hits were from Capitol and caught some heat about it.  But since it's been found to be DeWolfe, I wonder if it's actually the Crazies he's thinking of.  If you get any more info, feel free to send me a message.

Unfortunately, nido'd 3022 Checkpoint is incomplete, missing the last 4 tracks.
Other than that, I found a couple of lossless I didn't have nido. Thanks a lot.
Ooh er, yes. Dodge City (Jack Trombey) seems to be missing.I downloaded the album from LMT in about March last year. But from what Retro says it seems to be a known issue.

It might just be me deleting tracks I like less to save room on my hard drive. I can check the record tomorrow.

OMG this is too funny!  I figured I'd do a search for Dodge City, and when I heard it, I immediately recognized it.  It was used in the George Romero film "There's Always Vanilla" which I didn't think had ANY library music in it!!  Now I gotta go look through that one too haha.

You are on a roll.   If there any obscure DW you want to check give me a shout.  Some of the less appealing ones, I have never recorded digitally but do have the LPs.  Only missing the odd one.

Craig-UK's share included a number of MP3 versions. I have a few of them in lossless if necessary. Though I suspect you (@guitarzombie) are using them as reference at this stage so the file format is less relevant. Let me know.

I've checked all the versions of "Johnny" that I have but none come close. :(

Thanks!  Right now I'm still missing the other ones I posted about that you have (Dinky Doo, Lucky Me) etc.

The other ones I'm missing I don't think George would have used.  Mostly its the American Neutral and From Other Lands series.  Vanilla was a tricky one because it uses music by "Barefoot In Athens" which was a local Pittsburgh group, two songs by one of the actress' in the film Johanna Lawrence (Wild Mountain Thyme and How Should I Your True Love Know?  Oddly both appear on Marianne Faithfull's 1966 album North Country Maid).  The other electronic music was supplied by Steve Gorn, orchestral music by Jim Drake and other music supplied by Mike Marracino who was a jazz trumpet guy.  I wonder if Mike is the one that supplied the DeWolfe stuff?  I'll have to make a breakdown and figure out what is what.

Correct.  I don't mind if they're flac or mp3, I'm just using them as a reference.

A number of the tracks on Dinky Doo are on DWCD 134 and DWCD 156 available for audition on the De Wolfe website. Tracks from Lucky Me are more elusive though I do have the title track which, as the album cover claims, is very Bert Kaempfert-like.

The first DW catalogue that covers these earlier releases has a Solo Instruments listing and can’t see any banjo only tracks if that helps.

The 1973 catalogue does list some banjo cues. I've not read the thread in detail and these might already have been covered and ruled out but just in case:
