Thank you for the Chappell, Retro. Though I can't help thinking whether this was an example of how Chappell had lost their way with library music compared to the likes of KPM and Bruton. The album is called Pop Sounds and according to the record labels was released in 1975. And yet the entire album sounds much more mid-sixties rather than mid-seventies. Or was that the intention, perhaps? I presume the composer of the tracks on side 1 was London born John O’Brien-Docker from a band called the City Preachers, a Berlin-based folk group. I don't recall having heard of them at the time so don't think they managed to penetrate the UK music scene.

thanks for that Apollo 14 Retronic! been hoping for a higher quality version for a long time, specifically for that Polish side. hearing 'Never Mind' and 'Watch Your Steps' in proper stereo for the first time is beautiful. does Jacek Malinowski have a single bad library track, the man always delivers!

Thank you for ESL 149, Retro. Slowly, slowly I'm building up a collection of this library which I'm very much enjoying listening to.

Yep, lovely record. I have a soft spot for intense melancholic music, and I found a few here.
A total news to me this ESL 149, and a very welcome one.
Cheers Retro.
