Thank you for the Chappell, Retro. Though I can't help thinking whether this was an example of how Chappell had lost their way with library music compared to the likes of KPM and Bruton. The album is called Pop Sounds and according to the record labels was released in 1975. And yet the entire album sounds much more mid-sixties rather than mid-seventies. Or was that the intention, perhaps? I presume the composer of the tracks on side 1 was London born John O’Brien-Docker from a band called the City Preachers, a Berlin-based folk group. I don't recall having heard of them at the time so don't think they managed to penetrate the UK music scene.
