Unknown British (?) comedy piece
« on: December 22, 2024, 06:26:52 AM »

Currently wondering about what the lively piece that begins at the thirty-six second mark of this print of a Laurel and Hardy short is. Sounds very much like a Van Phillips or Bruce Campbell cue from Conroy or Impress, but haven't found it amongst the 78s featured on Archive or APM with their music.

I just identified the track right now. This is actually a cue from Video Moods by Frank Morton named "Flippity Flop" from EA 1062. I'll go upload it to my channel in a little bit.

Any chance you can upload the whole 78 that this track comes off of or are you still working on digitizing it?

I might upload the rest of those cues in the future. I have two copies of the 78, though I've digitized one of the two copies.

I was able to download an MP3 version of EA 1062-A Jazz Moods Of The Metropolis from your channel WSBG Returns Yet Again!
Would it be possible to hear the other side?
EA 1062 B1 Flippity Flop
EA 1062 B2 Nightmare in Camp
EA 1062 B3 Two Left Feet
EA 1062 B4 Barrel o’Fun

Or maybe upload the whole thing, just for a bit, not forever.

I'd love to hear it!

Your pal,

Doug

I've uploaded Flippity Flop a while ago, but I will upload the other three cues you've mentioned later on. =) Here's my video on Flippity Flop:
