A very mysterious tune. It was on a tape, a homemade compilation of famous things, like: Chilly, Doris D & The Pins, Saragossa Band, Cerrone, Status Quo and others from 1976 to 1986. All of them popular, except this one.

Any ideas, suggestions, thoughts..? It was obviously released on vinyl.

I think I might have heard this one before, possibly Italian.  But it's also pretty obviously an attempt at mimicking the Beatles "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."

We don't even know what country the artist is from. If he is from Italy, that is already some kind of trace. And the Beatles are clearly audible, especially at the beginning.
