"Crime" is the first volume of these library music series and we have put together a track compilation focusing on this theme , recorded by the italian band "Larry Manteca" between 2013 and 2023 and inspired by Polizieschi / Spaghetti Crime Film soundtracks , orbiting musical genres from West Coast jazz and inner-city funk to psychedelic and synth-infused sounds . The New Library Sound features vast usage of analogue modular synthesis and combines it with instrumentation like keys, mallets, chimes, different percussions and sampling.This recording is highly influenced by Jacques Cousteau's features „The Silent World & World Without Sun“, The Adventures of Tintin and Wes Anderson's „Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou“. It pays respect to classical music albums on the subject of water, like Sven Libaek's „Inner Space“, Walt Rockman's „Under Water“ or Les Baxter's „Jewels Of The Sea".
