Deutschlandspiegel was a series of short films from 1954 until 2004, produced for distribution abroad to present a picture of life in Germany, in the vein of
British Pathé.I watched some episodes from the late 1960s and early 1970s and recorded some of the frankly, KILLA tracks used in the background. Some sort of psychedelic / experimental rock in the vein of the German band Can, I guess.
Can itself is worth a look, especially the title track from the 1970 film
Das Millionenspiel, a satirical film masquerading as reality TV which confused many citizens of Germany when it aired on German television.
