Unknown KaBlam! cues (LAST REPOST)
« on: March 18, 2023, 11:20:22 PM »
Since my repost of my cues were deleted during the server crash of Sept. '22, I figure I'd give this one last try. Can anyone help me identify these tracks from this show?

Hey all, I'm bumping this thread, because I am in need of identifying a track from a segment of the show called "The Adventures of Patch Head", which I think might be part of the KPM 1000 series. The short, "Pork Chop Bop" (one of three episodes out of the five that did not appear on KaBlam!), contains a rather twangy guitar + electric organ piece possibly composed in the '60s and was used twice: dropbox.com/scl/fi/y47zp50enz049mdn2cwk8/porkchop2.wav?rlkey=7iguiu280krrwmt4kjidsya8l&dl=0 ID'd

Just ran this track through the Aha Music Identifier - it's indeed a KPM 1000 track, specifically "Rock It Again" by Alan Moorhouse from KPM 1067, "The Big Beat Volume 2".

Thanks! Strange how the Aha Music Identifier wouldn't work when I uploaded the sample onto their website.

Now all that remains are the unknown tracks that I've recorded off of the show, "KaBlam!" itself a long time ago.

Got loopy_clones2. It's "Eternal Triangle" by Antonio Leibana and Reg Tilsley, from De Wolfe DWCD 129 or 195.

I already identified this one myself during the site's downtime, so you probably saw my edit on the Production Music wiki. It originally came from De Wolfe DW/LP 3032 "Tilsley Orchestral (The Music of Reg Tilsley)" in 1967, and was then re-issued on DWCD 129 "Wallpaper" in 1991 and again in 1996 on DWCD 195 "Reg Tilsley's Band Grooves of the 60's".

I've got the second one from The New Class. It's "Deep Strings" by Andre Jacquemin and John Du Prez, from Carlin's initial versions of CAR-245. It can be found on Nichion's website, albeit running for 24 seconds as opposed to the physical album's listed runtime of 52 seconds.

Wow! Thanks! I'll listen to it later when I get off work.
