Capitol - X-127: Space Rhythm by Dan Kirsten
« on: March 15, 2024, 07:38:46 PM »
I bought this off Ebay immediately when I heard samples of it on amsounds instagram. It's an album of remixes combining music from X-116 and D-91/D-92. For those curious here's what was used in each Space Rhythm below . Since most of these are in Media Music, I plan on making my own stereo versions. Hope you all enjoy! ;)

Space Rhythm #5 (Electric Bass Color #6/???)

Space Rhythm #6 (Electric Bass Color #7/Weightlessness)

Space Rhythm #7 (Electric Bass Color #8/Tracking Station)

Space Rhythm #8 (Electric Bass Color #9/First Stage)

I don’t know exactly whether combining past music is considered remixes per se, but the bass rhythm patterns are from X-116 & Media Music Release No. 4, Record No. 7: Rhythm Colors using all tracks from side 2 (Electric Bass Color #1 - 10).

The electronic music is from D-91/D-92: Space Age/Electronic, although some of the cues were released in Media Music Release No. 4, Record No. 10: Space-Age/Electronic Effects with alternate titles.

I wouldn’t consider them original tracks myself, but they sure are pretty cool combinations.

This is very cool. You could do this simple overlay with so many other bass/rhythm releases. The possibilities are endless. Who put this together?
