Davenport Music Library (Musikos Music Library)A North Carolina-based music library founded in 1990, published in Charlotte, NC as Musikos, Inc. and distributed by Davenport Productions. A majority of the music was made by Neil Davenport, with some tracks made by Steve Dimond, Jamie Hoover, and Bill Soden. The Musikos Music Library lasted until 1992 and was succeeded by the Davenport Music Library (
https://davenportmusic.com/royalty-free-music) in 1993, with many of the Musikos Music Library tracks being carried over.
Musikos Music Library (Also known as: Musikos Core Reference Library)The Musikos Music Library consisted of the Core Reference Library (13 CDs), the Sports-Action Collection (4 CDs), the Corporate-Industrial Collection (5 CDs), the Gene Micheal Collection (3 CDs), and a sound FX collection (6 CDs).
BMI repertoire seems to link some of the Musikos titles to MIBE Music:
https://www.mibemusic.com/Core Reference Library (13 CDs)Named after Pantone color numbers. None of the tracks have titles (except on Musikos 556), only vague descriptions, such as “Orchestral funk in a minor mode” and “Gospel-country piano riffs intertwined with pan flute and large orchestra sounds; many mood changes!”. Each album is named after Pantone color numbers. 13 CDs containing a variety of themes. One CD is edited for broadcast with stingers.
All of these were probably made by Neil Davenport since a lot of the music from this library was carried on to the Davenport Music Library, the successor to the Musikos Music Library that came out in 1993. All of the music is made with synths, potentially a Korg M1
