Searching The Music From Sound Ideas CDs
« on: August 06, 2025, 06:55:02 PM »
Hi everyone

I wanted to ask if anyone by chance has these albums from the Sound Ideas sound library.

If anyone has the music from these albums, I would be very grateful. I've been looking for these libraries for several years, and I'm new to this forum and wasn't aware of this website, which I found one month ago.

I'm from Colombia, and in my country, this Sound Ideas sound library was used on a comedy show that still exists called Happy Saturdays

That Sound Ideas library was used from 1997 to 2003.

Back in 2003, the comedy show used another megatrax library.

These are the CDs I'm looking for

SI-K1 - Clowning Around
SI-K2 - Tippy Toes
SI-K3 - Back in Toon
SI-K4 - Laughs and Giggles
SI-M2 - O Christmas Tree
SI-M4 - Christmas Shopping
SI-R1 - The Final Act
SI-U1 - American Songs
SI-F5 - Hot Rocks
SI-H1 - Cyberdream
SI-B7 - Desert Night

If anyone has these CDs, please share them.

Thank you for your time.

May I recommend, if you have an android phone use Google assist to I'd tracks... From memory it picks up Sound Ideas tracks so should be able to help you ID them.

Hi Craig-UK,

Thanks for responding.

I tried the Google Assistant technique you mentioned, but YouTube and some websites show short versions of Sound Ideas songs, and the idea is to find all the full songs from these albums.

I've searched for a list of Sound Ideas albums on some websites, but it's very difficult to find.

I can only find the Sound Ideas discography on the Famdon Wiki, but I repeat, the tracks from this wonderful library don't appear anywhere on any website. I really like this Sound Ideas library because it brings back so many memories, and it's a shame that the official Sound Ideas website doesn't have the series of albums on this list I shared.

Recently, someone on this forum shared the album "Rock the Clock" by Sound Ideas, and that's the album I have so far, along with the album "Big Business" that someone else shared in another post.

I hope that if anyone on this forum has a Sound Ideas album that I've included in that list, they can share it so I can download it and listen to the music from those albums.

Thank you very much for your attention.

First, sorry for the inconvenience.

Have a nice day.

Why don't you try sponsoring the Musrc website to get the passwords for these albums?

I think it only costs $10.

If you are not an adult or don't have a job, please ignore this.

Hi ChunYinZi

Thanks for responding to this post.

When you refer to sponsoring the website you mentioned, you mean recommending the musrc page on social media or some other platform.

Or I simply make a donation to the page, and I assume that with that procedure I automatically have the passwords. I don't know if that's true.

On the other hand, I understand that the musrc website is managed by Retromatic. I've written to him, but he doesn't respond. I left a private message and another one on Messenger, but I haven't received a response.

Yes, you need to sponsor Musrc. You can get the password by sponsoring this website.

I think you only need to pay $10-20 to get the password.

I have a Facebook account for Retro Matic.  I will explain it to him.

Okay

So this is how I understand it.

I sponsor the two pages:

Music Themes Library and musrc, and with that I get the password.

One question, can I unlock all the albums? In this case, since I want the Sound Ideas library, I imagine I can get the albums I left on the list.

Or can I unlock just one album or can I unlock the other albums I want?

Sorry to bother you. I'm actually new to this and have never done this practice we're discussing.

Another point to mention:

I'm from Colombia, and the truth is, I've never had a PayPal account, or failing that, I've never paid or purchased through PayPal. Generally, the purchases I make in my home country, Colombia, are made by just entering my credit card information and that's it, but I've never used PayPal.

According to the musrc website, I have to fill out my PayPal information. I don't know if this step is mandatory to respond, or if it's fine if I just pay $10 dollars with a credit card.

Here in my country, $10 dollars is worth 40,000 Colombian weights

There is a sponsorship option in the upper left corner of the Musrc website.

You can pay with PayPal or a credit card.

Yes, once you sponsor, you will receive the album password you mentioned.

The password Retro Matic will be sent to your email address.

Hi ChunYinZi

Okay

If I said, "If I donate the $10 to the musrc page, will I receive the password or what information would I receive in my email?" I'm curious.

Yesterday I sent Retromatic another message on Facebook to tell them about my request for the sound ideas library, but I haven't heard back, so I wanted to try again.
