Interesting album...here's a very odd question...can anyone verify that this was really made in 1979 and not one of those modern 2000's era fakes that are so good no one would know? Only reason i'm saying this, is because the cut "To Squeeze Through" is either 5 to 6 years ahead of its time in the use of "sampling", or, I just caught something.
The rhythm is a direct loop/sample of the breakdown from the 1979 US top disco hit "Hot Shot" by Karen Young...just wanted to point this out. And I also heard other "samples" on various other cuts from disco classics used for this album's rhythm.
