"Progress Island U.S.A." Remaining Unknown Track
« on: March 07, 2020, 05:34:46 PM »
Most of the background music for this promotional film about Puerto Rico is already identified: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0308766/soundtrack?ref_=tt_trv_snd .  There are a couple pieces that I haven't found yet, though.  They play at 4:36:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdTQGNZMYPI&t=4m36s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdTQGNZMYPI&t=8m29s . Anyone know what either is?

The piece at 8:29 is Keith Mansfield's 'Motorail Express' from 1973, found on KPM 1124...

Just a thought, are you sure that the 4:36 isn't a live recording as played by the band they shown?

It's possible, but I initially thought the same thing about the piece at 7:03, and that's the stock piece "Caracas" by Gunter Greffenius.
