I hauled them all last night because, you never know when they might disappear, and together with the ceefax tapes John_Fred put up, I know what I am going to do the next couple of days: Over 7 GByte of archives in my download folder wait to be evaluated, and I am SOOOO ready for it!

I am slowly going through them. One curiosity is the CBS volume 19. It features MFSB a Philly soul band popular in the early/mid 70s. It seems to be a sampler of tracks taken from their albums Love Is The Message (1973), Philadelphia Freedom (1975), Summertime (1976) and Universal Love (1975). In some cases the tracks are shorter versions of those which were released commercially. As far as I know Philadelphia International Records was an independent label but which had a distribution agreement with CBS. I've not come across a commercial band releasing their hits on a library volume before. Although I know that Electric Banana (aka The Pretty Things) released a number of albums with De Wolfe. But as far as I know they were original works rather than containing tracks which had been previously released under a commercial label.
