What is your favorite library label ?

Just a simple question : what is your favorite library label ?

For me, it changes everytime, but I think it could be Montparnasse 2000.

- ...

impossible to name only one for me.

i would say currently i am really into Musax though.

Impossible for me too, to name only one or two.
I'm pretty much into all italians, but I'm having new interests in french labels lately.

You really can't go wrong with most labels as a whole, I feel. RCA Original Cast, Auvidis and Harmonic, though. And Gemelli. And Media Music.

My favourite label is Amphonic. I just love the sound of those and Syd Dale's arrangements.

-General Music Corp. (US label run by Gordon Zahler, not the Italian label!)
-Publications Francis Day (only for their "Crazy Bass" album!!)
-Brilliant Muzik (although they're more of a publisher than label)

That's why I'm into Montparnasse 2000, I like all these things, from the music to the cover, some are still not really famous..
I like stuff like Selected Sound or Tele Music but their covers is not as beautiful as Montparnasse 2000's ones. But I don't say that MP2000 have the best music... I think there is a lot of other excellent labels like Freesound but I am not really into them, cause they are too hard to find for someone like me

Too difficult to choose just one, also feels difficult to leave so many amazing labels out. So I list three Italian and three French labels that came to my mind first. I'd pick these with me if the house was on fire. From the British labels I'd go with Bruton and from the big German labels I couldn't choose.

For me, it'll always be KPM and De Wolfe. Those are the two labels that introduced me to library music.
And I still maintain that the KPM/DeWolfe catalogues are consistently top of the line on every level. Cream of the crop, imho.

Of course, I also love most every French, German, U.S., and Italian label

I like almost all the library music releases, depending on my mood.
Perhaps the great quality of De Wolfe, KPM, Chappell and Bruton is above all else.
But I love the Italian labels, especially RCA, CAM, Omicron/Liuto/SWS and Fonit-Cetra, including Usignolo, Goldfinger, Commenti Musicali series and Nuovo Repertorio Editoriale.
I think of NRE as the Italian KPM 1000 series, with all due respect.

Because those were the first two library labels that I came across, and that brought me into this fantastic music world.

those few second fxs of major records can be heard at almost every greek vhs or cinema movie of the 80s:)
