Piero Umiliani was my introduction to Italian Production music, shortly after being bitten by the Library Bug. I remember some of the first Umiliani records that I heard, I was transfixed, having never heard some of these sounds in the way he was making his music. I spent several hours online for several days, trying to find out more about him, his studio workshop, etc.
After that, I downloaded anything with his name in the title. I've still got all those old, 128 rips, unless they've been upgraded to LOSSLESS, since then.
At this point, most of my time is spent upgrading old rips with better, LOSSLESS rips and hi rez scans.
Thank you, Geo, for I Classici Del Mare in all of it's glory. I didn't have this before, nor have I heard it.
