I put the pics on cos they state the publisher so easier to find those with name changes.

What I loved about these was as well as some lesser-known at the time titles, they also included full versions of many KPM tracks which up till then were only available in edited form.

There are some retitled and incorrectly labelled tracks, here are the ones I know about:

La Scandale Discotheque:
07 Cutting The Funk is actually Spaced Out, the preceding track from KPM 1196
08 Friday Feeling - original title Mincin' Mamma, SBH 3072
21 Night Fever - original title Firkin Fever, SBH 3072
22 Disco Disco - original title Bushel Bump, SBH 3072

Golden Cavalcade Casino
01 Grandstand is actually The Main Event, KPM 1173
10 Time For Romance actually composed by John Anthony, from Conroy BMLP 099

Paco's Poolside Bar
03 Fun In The Sun is actually Into Orbit by David Lindup, KPM 1060
The Pete Moore Boosey and Hawkes tracks are almost certainly retitled, but I've not been able to trace them yet!

Actually some of those track-name changes may have occurred at KPM. I have found a few instances of the same track appearing on two different KPM 1000-series albums, but with different titles.

That’s unusual. I know a couple of KPM tracks appeared on RPM LPs

Some of the tracks were renamed (and sometimes edited) when KPM put them on CD - Cutting The Funk and Fun In The Sun are mistakes, presumably by whoever put the CDs together.

The story behind Time For Romance is a whole other ball game, which made the papers!

Thanks a lot Retro. This series was one of my gateways into library music. A major upgrade for me!

Just as a matter of interest, "Never A Dull Moment", track 10 of Paco's Poolside Bar, is also known as "Bright And Breezy", a title change which I'm sure happened at KPM.
