British CD and digital label, founded 2001 by Russell Emanuel, Dolph Taylor, Mark Levinson and Peter Bennett.
The label was initally set up by Extreme Music and Hans Zimmer & Jay Rifkin's Media Ventures Entertainment Group, but was later moved entirely under Extreme.
Its catalogue houses a few 'big' names, probably through its affiliation with Media Ventures, including Hans Zimmer himself, Harry Gregson-Williams and Klaus Badelt to name a few - and, curiously, infamous film director Uwe Boll. Ramin Djawadi also contributes a few cues, as well as Thomas Bergersen, later of Two Steps from Hell.
I've never had one of these on-hand so I can't vouch for how
durable they are, but the packaging for these CD releases certainly seems quite novel; the CDs are packaged inside cases shaped like a clapperboard, where the CD can be taken out of the case by raising the clapper stick (top part), to which it is attached:
