MARTY IRWIN studied at the New South Wales Conservatorium of Music. EMI Records asked him to join their hit band QED, headed by JENNY MORRIS. Whilst on your he shared the stage with many top bands, INXS, CROWDED HOUSE, DD SMAHS and THE VENETIANS.

In 1986, Marty decided to pursue his ambition, as a songwriter, buildling his own home recording studio facility and set up his music production company Irwin Music Production Pty Ltd. As Marty's reputation grew, publishers and record companies started sending their new artists to him for pre-production and development.

Marty now writes television, commercial and feature film soundtracks and has worked as a music editor on several major film and television productions. Spending time in Los Angeles where he worked with BILL CONTI Rocky V / Karate Kid, KENNY LOGGINS, Footloose, JOHN BARNES Michael Jackson.

A long held dream of his has been to work on an animated film or television series. By working in conjunction with writers and animators. Marty feels there are no real musical boundaries, allowing the composer's imagination to bring the characters to life, through music.

The music of composers Tom Kane and Colin Baldry has been used all around the world in a wide variety of applications: Hollywood films, commercials, computer games, TV themes and theatre, among many others.

Since launching their writing partnership at University in the early 1980s they have been active in many areas of the music industry. As session musicians they have toured and recorded extensively with the likes of Tom Robinson, Ant and Dec, Black, Stephen Duffy, Tim Finn and Jakki Graham; as producers they have worked for most of the major record companies; as songwriters they have written for various artists (Judy Cheeks, Eusebe, Jakki Graham); in 1991 Virgin released their own album featuring soul diva Donna Gardier.

Art Phillips
A former resident of Los Angeles, Art Phillips was a top US session guitarist and recorded with Barry Manilow, Minnie Riperton, Teena Marie, Demis Roussos, The Carpenters, Smokey Robinson and Burl Ives, to name but a few.
Now residing and working in Sydney, Australia, Art continues to distinguish himself composing for television dramas and feature films. His list of credits include Reprisal (TVM), Neighbours, The Flying Vet, Guiding Light, The Love Boat and Santa Barbara, for which he was awarded two Emmys for "outstanding music composition in a drama series" (1986 & 1987). His scoring credits for feature films include The Fatal Bond, Signal One - Bullet Down Under and Sher Mountain Killing Mystery. For the latter he received and AFI nomination for "best original music in a feature film" (1990).
As musical director, conductor and orchestrator on live concert tours, he has worked with Demis Roussos, John Bowles, Ricky May and Dorey Previn. He has also produced records for Sally Kellerman, Demis Roussos, Barry Manilow and John Rowles. Art also holds the prestigious position of vice-president of The Australian Guild of Screen Composers (through 1999) and lectures in screen music composition at Griffith University, The Australian Institute of Music and Toho Gakuen University in Tokyo.
Currently much of his time is taken up with writing and producing for Production Music libraries. In the past three years, he has released 24 albums in a variety of styles.

A former resident of Los Angeles, Art Phillips was a top US session guitarist who recorded with Barry Manilow, Minnie Riperton, Teena Marie, Demis Roussos, The Carpenters, Smokey Robinson and Burt Ives, to name but a few. He has also produced records for Sally Kellerman, Demis Roussos, Barry Manilow and John Rowles.

Now residing and working in Sydney, Australia, Art continues to distinguish himself, composing for television dramas and feature films. His list of credits include  Reprisal (TVM), Neighbours, The Flying Vet, Guiding Light, The Love Boat and Santa Barbara, for which he was awarded two Emmys for "outstanding music composition in a drama series" (1986 & 1987). His scoring credits for feature films include The Fatal Bond, Signal One - Bullet Down Under and Sher Mountain Killin Mystery. For the latter he received an AFI nomination for "best original music in a feature film" (1990).

Art holds the prestigious position of vice-president of The Australian Guild of Screen Composers and lectures in screen music composition at Griffith University, The Australian Institute of Music and Toho Gakuen University in Tokyo.

Mysterious dance guru, remixer and programmer, Cypha has been working on a variety of Film & TV projects, including Chappell rml's seminal Kitsch Pop Remix album (CHAP 252), Ambient Grooves and Dub 2 (CHAP AV157) in collaboration with the Tibetan Gyume Monks, and also engaging in extensive audio experimentation with 5.1 surround sound.

Soultek
Paris-based Soultek is currently working on a movie soundtrack of Brazilian Trip-Hop for a top secret French Film Director. His music has been featured in videos by the internationally acclaimed Spirales tribe and rave performance artists, and has also been released by the avant-garde Savage Eden label. At present, Soultek is on location in Africa recording exotic sounds and rhythms for French TV and also working on a new album of Breakbeat.
