imho this has nothing to do with Zoo Folle. i would assume that they use it to hype the album a little. Zoo Folle is a well-known name in collectors circles and if i was running the label, i would try to bring up a connection to Zoo Folle, too
musically, it reminds me a lot more of albums like Zalla's (Umiliani's) Africa or Continente Nero but averybody has to decide for oneself.
but nonetheless. really like Africa Oscura. especially all those spooky animal samples. also i dig the cover. even if i am dead broke i ordered a physical copy just to support the label as this is far from being one of those loveless and bland reissues. again one of those releases that makes me think what buried treasures are still sitting around unheard...
