Thank you musictheorist for sharing these vintage ads, love it  8]
Ten records for $150! Does this indicate they were selling to the public? Any idea where these ads were run?

It got me thinking that Media Music Special Edition was released after the Hi-“Q” Series albums were published.

Here is the list I assume. That matrices are now different as of Media Music Release No. 5.

No. 1 - MMUS (1967/1968)
No. 2 - MEDS (1968)
No. 3 - MEMS (1968)
No. 4 - MEAS - (1969)
No. 5 - MEBS - (1969)
No. 6 - MECS - (1970)
No. 7 - MEGS - (1971)?
No. 8 - MEHS - (1972) (Confirmed via a Billboard trade ad)
No. 9 - MEJS - (1973)?
No. 10 - MEKS - (1974)? (Promoted as the American Bicentennial collection)
No. 11 - MELS - (1975)?
No. 12 - MEOS - (1976)?
No. 13 - MEPS - (1977)
Special Edition - MMSE-1 to MMSE-10 (1978)? Hi-Q albums released between 1977 and 1978.
No. 14 - MEQS - (1979)?
No. 15 - MERS (1980)?
Special Edition No. 11 to No. 16 (1979-1980)

Some of the Hi-“Q” prefixes SoCalRyan assumes reflects the release date.

OM - 1977
PM - 1978
QM - 1979
RM - 1980
