Hello everyone,
I am trying to identify the exact pre-1990 Radio Production Library release/variant of the famous 1964 Tony Carr composition "March of the Mods" (also known widely in broadcasting catalogs as "The Letkiss" or "Letkis Jenka").
Through production room research, I have successfully tracked down a companion mix of this exact same melody from Joe Loss--however this is not the instrumentation I am seeking (that is #2).
1. The Horn/Brass Variant: (Triumphant fanfare style over a crisp military snare march cadence)
Link to audio: voca.ro (https://voca.ro/1ninD4xLgdVr (melody different instruments--this is the Joe Loss version)
2. THIS is the version I seek: The Calliope/Accordion Variant: (The target track: Hyper-fast 150 BPM tempo, arranged strictly with a jumping/stamping Jenka dance rhythm, front-facing accordion layers, and a piercing carousel/calliope organ lead)
Link to audio: voca.ro (https://voca.ro/1leYkuF7AXzt (:05 edit)
These companion tracks were actively pulled from a physical US radio station production music library box set before 1990 to be used as a custom, personality-driven show opener/talk-over bed.
Can anyone recognize which specific library label and disc catalog number (e.g., Network Production Music, Capitol Media Music, Thomas J. Valentino's Major Records, or a European import like Selected Sound or Sonoton) pressed these back-to-back alternate instrumentations of the song?

Thanks In Advance,

Floyd

The first version is the recording by Joe Loss and his Orchestra, which is from a commercial release on HMV (POP 1351)

I am aware of that, Lord---but that is NOT the clip I'm looking for--it's the Second clip (https://voca.ro/1leYkuF7AXzt -:05 edit).

Not sure I understand. If it's the second link you need identifying then it's impossibly short at :01 rather than :05 as you state.

Floyd

The reason for clip #1--(as a "point of reference")--it has the SAME "melody"--as the short edit track.

Oh, okay, thanks. Then with only 1 second of audio to work with I'll leave it to the experts.

Update:

To keep this search clean and avoid any confusion, I have successfully identified the core melody of the tracks using an acoustic fingerprinting engine.

The melody is a "cover" of the 1964 Tony Carr composition "March of the Mods" (commonly cataloged in production libraries as "The Letkiss" or "Letkis Jenka"). However, because this was pulled from a dedicated pre-1990 US Radio Production LP, the track label on the vinyl likely used a descriptive theme title like "Carnival Midway," "Midway Carousel," or "Amusement Park Ride."

I have successfully re-uploaded the exact audio reference links for both companion "stems" that were used on this radio station package. You can listen to them here:

1. The Horn/Brass Fanfare Variant (Cleanest Melodic Fingerprint):
https://voca.ro https://voca.ro/1ninD4xLgdVr

2. The Calliope/Accordion Variant (The talkover instrumental:

Does anyone recognize a pre-1990 US production music library (such as Thomas J. Valentino's Major Records, Network Production Music, or a Pepper-Tanner / William B. Tanner box) that features an album track titled "Carnival Midway" (or similar) utilizing this exact melody with alternating brass and accordion arrangements?

Thank you!
