This is the one you want - discount the two South African ones, they're something different, but the Jacquie Sullivan and Dr Heavy singles are part of the same web!

07 Mexicana - Johnny Peters Orchestra - Bright Orchestral

This is a false title and artist too, it's actually Popocatepetl by Ostravský Rozhlasový Orchestr, a retitled Czechosolvakian Radio recording
Thanks for the update.  Any idea of the LP/album this tune originates from?  Discogs is of no help, unsurprisingly!

No album info, unfortunately - almost certainly never commercially released, I got the info from someone who has knowledge of the instrumental recordings held in the Czechoslovakian radio archives.  Other info I've had from them has been proven correct so I trust them on this one!

Funny you should mention that I looked up Spellbound, the B-side of the Jacquie Sullivan single How Can I Say Goodbye, on the GEMA database and it credits a song of that title to composers Brian Bennett and P A Ludlow. Publisher is given as Marksman Music Ltd. I wonder if GEMA have themselves confused over composers with the surname Bennett since Discogs shows the composer as Gordon not Brian Bennett? It could go to explain why Richard Rodney Bennett's name came up in my earlier post.

The single Get Back To Bach and released in the Netherlands is attributed solely to P A Ludlow on GEMA. The publisher is Spectrum Music.

Just came back to check here, and I do think that there is some to search through in GEMA. I'm not certain how far we can get through that, but I can, in fact, confirm what was mentioned by Lord Thames - there's a good variety under Spectrum Music, with names familiar to us, such as Bennett, Ludlow, and Dickinson.

And with regards to other leads... MCT did release some CD compilations, of which they were entirely unique and were NOT released on Vinyl. Some things could be of interest, therein. While I agree that Ludlow has the potential to be a lead, I do have a feeling that MCT could also have some tracks on their CD collections, which were used in LGFG.

I personally say there's a chance for something to be on MCT albums, or CDM Music (The composer for "Sunrise Canyon", which, as has been stated, was actually "San Diego", Dominique Guiot, had new tracks on both of those labels. It's the matter of that being the only "modern wave" track which entices me to believe MCT or CDM has some of the missing tracks from LGFG1). But I will also watch the search on GEMA with interest, in case that turns something up.

And re: Bruton? Given their sound in the 80s, I don't personally believe that they have anything of value, but I could also take a look through BRD, BRF-BRH, BRR, BRS. The reason I mention those prefixes in particular is the fact that I believe that, if Bruton DOES contribute any tracks to LGFG, they would be there.

Additionally, I updated the "missing tracks" WAV. We are now down to 6/18 tracks missing from this compilation.

I've searched both GEMA and SUISA with the following results:

GEMA
Ave A Look - P A Ludlow - Moments Music Ltd
A Matter Of Time - P A Ludlow - Moments Music Ltd/Mood Media Ltd

SUISA
Ave A Look - P A Ludlow - Moments Music Ltd
Come Away With Me To Sunny Spain - Martin Kershaw/Gordon Bennett/P A Ludlow - Bloomsbury Music
Femme Fatal - Louis Baker - O Neills Music - [Performing Artists] Alan Dickinson/P A Ludlow
Out In The Sunshine - Martin Kershaw/Gordon Bennett/P A Ludlow - Bloomsbury Music
Schoolgirl - Gordon Bennett/P A Ludlow - Petal Music
Stop Thief - Gordon Bennett/P A Ludlow/Jacquie Sullivan - Air Music/Chrysalis Music
Wear And Tear - P A Ludlow - Moments Music Ltd

I'm not sure this takes us any further but I add it for what it's worth. Jacquie Sullivan was a backing singer for Roxy Music back in the 70s.

That sentiment exactly. I don't feel like any of those tracks are within the area that tracks could potentially be. Not only because some of these tracks are listed under Moments Music (a bit too early for them - they don't even exist until 1994, iirc), but also because some of the tracks are vocal tracks - noting Stop Thief in particular.

And my apologies if I sound like I'm pressing this idea too hard, but I do legitimately believe MCT has the best chance to contain some other LGFG1 tracks on their CDs. Made in Sax and San Diego were both re-released on MCT CDs around 1989, combined with new tracks. I would search through what's been posted here already, to see if my theory is correct, but the number of CDs posted is incredibly low, in that respect.
