Trying This Another Way
« on: June 18, 2025, 11:25:54 PM »
So, I'm still trying to run down an elusive track. I posted a link to it from a video on YouTube some time ago. That link had a lot of voice over to it so I stripped out the voice over and boosted the audio as much as I could to see if it might help anyone who might give it a whirl trying to ID it. All I know about it is that it was made somewhere between 1987 and 1989. Link to the stripped version is below:

If anyone can identify it, thanks in advance.

Just yesterday I got a very similar track in tone and arrangement:

vocaroo.com/1obwRIR4OH8U

Like the sample you posted it surely sounds late 80s and American. Both traits are weak spots in overall library music knowledge.

There's so much from that period that has that particular sound. I thought the track in the first posting might be from the Arcadia Cosmos library?

Thanks again, KPM Lover. This one (and now I found out) that 'Pie In The Face' were used by SBT network in early 1990s.

The cool thing about the ID is that the track also showed up on YT and has been there for only 9 days.
