Thanks Rocco, for more rare Italian goodies. I'll try to listen when I can, but I'm stuck on one of your recent uploads, the MSLP 00309 from Max Raffeng. I can't get enough of this. I think this may be my favorite Italian release now, perhaps for all time. It's incredible!

Not to take away any fire from this Apprendista Hitchcock rip, which I've never heard. I'm just saying, this is powerful stuff you're sharing, for which I'm very grateful  :)

G62 is Andrew Jackman with Denims from BRG 8 Fresh Approach.  The off-air recording you have is sped up, but it's that.  Lossless copy of that track below...

Thank you, Rocco, for introducing a new Italian label to my ears!

It sounds good, but a little off my path. I recognize some very 80s music sounds in these tracks.

I think after a couple of listens, I'll be able to appreciate these unique sounds better. That's how it is for me with music, I've always got to have a couple of passes before the music seems to reach my own barriers.

Thanks also for the lovely huge and sharp scans. I was able to retouch the image a little and bring out some color, but I'm no photoshop wizard, so I'm happy with my own marginal results. Large & sharp scans are always appreciated.

All in all, a very nice upload. Thanks again :)

Requests / Re: U-PHONIC BGM CDs (Japan)
« Last post by BenKirb on November 19, 2024, 06:03:28 PM »
This is a very old library in Japan.

The music was used in many classic Japanese animations.

for example “Case Closed,” “Doraemon,” “Crayon Shin-chan.....

They're very rare on CD, currently at jp.mercari, someone is selling two, but they're very expensive about $150 a piece

As for these CDs, there is only one website that is a licensed distributor in Japan, and it does not offer a demo, so you have to contact the website's staff to ask about the CDs.

If you buy them from the website, the price is about 300 dollars per CD.

But... You can't contact Japan Illust Music with American-style information, only Japanese-style information, like the phone number and postal code, for example.

I don't have a Japanese phone number, and when I shop on Japanese online shopping platforms, I usually opt for our country's reseller business. Although I have to pay an extra fee, I can ask them to do the shopping for me and have it delivered to my doorstep, for which I also have to pay a fee.

Ah.
