I've noticed that some of the library music CDs don't have the same music that's on the reseller's Web sites these days.
After I've confirmed that it wasn't an uploading error, I'm going to guess that maybe the electronic version was remastered at a later date, and that maybe the composer wasn't happy with the CD version.
I'll give you an example of Access Music on Universal Productions Music
AM043q the version on the CD is significantly different from the one that Universal provides.
So do you guys know of any other music that has this?
Here's a comparison of the two that I provided

Ah! I see. I just heard the difference just now.

KPM had to change the melody of Keith Mansfield's track Bubble Machine because Gershon Kingsley thought it was a bit too similar to Popcorn and he wasn't too happy about it - the original is on the Lifeforce LP

Dagnabit! The problem with relying solely on the digital download. Track 23 Bubble Machine is missing. I'll just have to content myself with the version on YT. Thanks LT. And yes the similarity between that and Hot Butter's Popcorn is embarrassingly close. No wonder Mr Kingsley took umbrage.
