Someone on here was asking for Cinemusic rips - I've pulled four off the shelf at random, and I hope to do some more when time allows.
CMR 205 - (A) Dramatic (Emotional and Heavy) - (B) Dramatic (Chase - Martial)
This one includes the two pieces that featured in the Bicycle Repair Man sketch on Monty Python's Flying Circus

CMR 418 - (A) Jazz Waltz - Fox Trot (B) Fox Trot
One for the ladies, or so the label says anyway - glamorous orchestral and big band music. I really like this one! From 1968

CMR 419 - Jazz-Rock-Pop
Another 1968 one

CMR 801 (A) Openings - Themes (B) Documentary - Industry - Endings
A much later one, this - from 1975, three years before Jack Shaindlin's death. This must surely be one of the shortest albums I own, both sides total about 16 minutes of music!

All titles composed by the disturbingly prolific Jack Shaindlin, all in wavs - first three are mono, the last one is stereo.

many thanks, the cmr419 sounds promising

Thank you LT.

Why thank you Lord. I was one of the Cinemusic requesters.
I have a few in my to rip pile as well.
Do you have to nudge the tone arm at the end of each track?
I do on mine.
Which are the Bicycle Repairman songs? Curious.
Your Pal,
Doug

Yes, the locked groove at the end of each track means I have to pay attention when I'm ripping!
The Bicycle Repair Man tracks are 'March Of The Insurgents' (the main Bicycle Repair Man march) and 'Reptile Fighters' (great title!) which is the track playing when he fixes the bike. I remember the latter piece also turning up in a sketch on The Paul Hogan Show.

Great, thank you very much Lord Thames. :)

Thanks, Thames! I was one of those requesters also! So nice to finally hear CMR 205, some really good stuff. How can you not like a tune named "Reptile Fighters"? CMR 419's also a great album, full'a groovy stuff, some of which I previously could only hear in 60-second commercial spot form!!

This is great. Thanks, LT!
