I've posted something about this before, but I don't remember when I did... I'm still trying to find someone who can identify this logo music.
It was used in the 1985 IBA logo. And of all places, the 1988 Turner Multimedia logo. Sounds a lot like something out of a British music library.

(at the very beginning)
Your help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I’m sure I have this somewhere and although I could be wrong, it could be on a Bruton library album in the BRA section. I heard this initially as the IBA ident when the engineering announcements moved to Channel 4. However, a number of years later featured on a ‘90’s Granada tv ident which was my local ITV area at that time

I've checked the BRA albums I have downloaded and found nothing matching...

I also can't find it on the BRA series, there's a similar track on BRI19 Call Sign 2. I had a quick look at the De Wolfe library as that was another favourite of tv producers.
I'm surprised that there's fingerprint of the track as Bruton/Universal are quite good with their metadata.

It has been found. I thought it might be Firstcom or Atmosphere but ITV were usually traditional and the Chappell Production Library provided the logo. CHAP 109 Shorts 1984.
