Here's another Canadian bit I'm all but certain is a library track.  Sounds like it could be from someone like Keith Mansfield.

This was uploaded by Betamax King, whose YouTube channel is a good place to go if you're interested in retro Canadian ads and other Canadian TV material.

It's Rock Hard by Paul Keogh from the Bruton album Fresh Approach - used a lot over here on the BBC sketch show Three Of A Kind

Thanks for the quick ID.  I assumed it was something from Bruton or KPM, it just has that kind of sound and feel.

I hesitate to contradict you LT but isn't the track Rock Hard actually from BRH 08 Rhythm Stick?

No, you are quite right!   I got a bit mixed up as Fresh Approach was the first album I checked as I knew I had it somewhere - Rhythm Stick was the second one!     :D
