The funky beginnings of the Poznań Entertainment Orchestra of PRiTV. A trip through the end of the times of success propaganda, marked by powerful rhythms and expressive strings. Unpublished (mostly) radio recordings.
"Decoder" is part of a larger series documenting the archival achievements of the Poznań Orchestra. The material from the original tapes from the Radio Poznań archive was remastered by Andrzej Poniatowski. The cover was designed by excellent Philadelphia-based illustrator Rachel Breeden (aka Circa 78 Designs).

Thanks for the share @sj_beat. Track 14 reminds me that a long time ago I lived in Warsaw, Poland for a couple of years. The lady in the apartment next to mine had a dog which for some while I was convinced was called Chodź as that was what she used to say to him when they went out for a walk. It was some months later that I discovered "chodź" simply means "come on"!!
