Title: Atmosphere Music Library CD Series (Lossless)

Here's the first 60 or so albums from the Atmosphere CD library available from UPM's company site. It starts at ATMOS-CD 2 and skips #19 and #22. There's some pretty good stuff here, classic 1980s synthesizer based music. Reminds me of some of the Sonoton albums from Jeff Newmann and Geoff Bastow. I've tested a handful of these albums for transcodes and it seems this library is without flaw.

I'd like say it's like a combination of Rolf Wehmeier's electronics stuff on Happy Records combined with
Newmann. Like a mix of them both...

..and it sounds awesome!

So the production year is not really a good indicator of what sort of music is going to be contained within a lot of the time.

I don't think this is true of library music in the late 60s to late 70s, even into early 80s. It may be true that library styles were not in line with whatever was the most "cutting edge" at the time, but library music of these periods was superb in capturing the popular styles and ambient sounds that would've been familiar to everyone at the time -- library actually defined the sounds of the time, being in the background to most every film, radio and TV commercial, classroom documentary, cartoon, soap opera, sitcom, etc.. It permeated every aspect of our lives. I love history and I'm nostalgic, and also getting up in age, so for me this historical aspect of library music is why it was always so appealing. In my opinion, if you want to capture the sound, the mood of a particular year or set of years, there's nothing better than library music.

Probably THE best nineties library albums I’ve heard! Very aesthetically ahead too if you consider the size of vaporwave and today’s new age revival. Definitely check those out if you have any interest in this label or the atmospheric side of 80s-90s library.

To offer moral support to BWP (and Yohannes) @s2276 I suspect you may be unfamiliar with the way forums work and that English may not be your native language which is why you don't realise that your requests are coming across wrong. You don't appear to understand that this is a forum not an on-line shopping site. Nobody here is obliged to share anything from their collection of library music. But many do.

To do so risks members just ignoring your requests all together. We all have lives and do not spend every waking hour logged on to this forum. If a member has a copy of the album(s) you are requesting and they are prepared to share it with you and others they will do so - but in their time not yours. Equally if nobody responds then that's just the way it is.

This thread needs a huge tidy up from the first s2276 post and delete everything that came after it - including this post as it’s massively off track. The original post from this person should have gone into requests anyway. I’ve been monitoring these posts for weeks now and can’t believe they exist. I find myself coming back to this forum less and less which is a shame.

In my opinion, both users should be booted, banned and keeping an eye on the IP and email address for further new member names coming from it. The admin on the forum are very easy going and surprised they haven’t intervened. Just a good job I’m not the admin as those two usernames would have been booted by now !

What I'm saying is, I think you need to think through something before you post it, and, word choice matters. If you really need something urgently, you still need to ask politely. If you have a bad reputation, then I think people will act against you.
If BWP was rude, how would his account still be here after 7 years?

What are you trying to accomplish here? You're not winning any friends by responding this way. You could learn your lessons, create a new account, and play nicely with others like everyone else here does. Obviously going forward with these 2 accounts are not going to be fruitful, as you've pissed a lot of people off here these last couple weeks. Maybe you are incapable of learning? I didn't consider that but I don't like to entertain the notion that it might be true of any human person. But damaged people exist, I have seen it with my own 2 eyes. Your time here must have presented at least a few lessons on how to interact, or rather how NOT to interact with others. It's obvious to anyone with a room temperature IQ that these 2 usernames are both you. Let's not be silly with the oh, no that's not me's, everyone can see what is happening here.

Continuing here at all with either of these 2 usernames is a dead end. No one is going to help someone who thinks this is a fast food establishment where they place orders that need to be filled ON TIME or else. You're going to have to delete your 2 accounts, make a 3rd name, and this time ask nicely, don't demand things, if you don't get a reply, chalk it of to no one has the thing you want or they aren't in a position to be uploading albums for others. You don't know what my or anyone else's situation is like. We are not employees. No one is getting paid here.

The customer is NOT always right.

I'm sure similar issues have happened before here and certainly I've seen it on other forums.

I have autism too. Man, even Christopher-2010 has autism too. Me and s2276 (or ClassicPro) were being friends for a while. I was trying to help him, but he sometimes annoyed me. But i know how he feels.
