Title: Chappell CD Series, Part 1 (Lossless)

Founded in 1810 as a music publisher and piano manufacturer. In 1941 Chappell & Co. formed the recording company Chappell Recorded Music, which focused on library music.


The first quarter of the albums available on UPM's site.  I goofed when tagging these and left a blank field checked in the artist box, so the Artist column got erased for the lot of them after 137.  Rather than redownload 50 albums (a real annoying process with UPM in particular), I figured I can just leave it be and people can fill this field in as they go.

Yes, a Chappell CD thread. I'm searching through Discogs, and looking for a mid nineties CD from this library titled "Rock-Blood Brothers" It's CHAPAV 56. Are any from this series available to you?

I'm loving the samples from the Chappell AV Series. Would CHAPAV 75 - Rock Vocals and CHAPAV - 81 - Alternative Rock be available? Thanks again, and if you wanted to put up any others from this Chappell AV Series, that would be great.

The Archive ones are from the LPs- I have some of the Drama ones on CD and remember some  John Cacavas stuff on there.

Sure.  They both came out at >500MB after compressing to FLAC, so they are split-archives.  Get both parts for each and extract from part 1.

I think a Chappell AV thread is in order eventually.  I've got about a dozen irons in the fire ATM, and about 700GB of untagged wav files I'm slogging through, but it'll get put in the queue.

Thanks Dick for the Kitsch Pop. I never had one, let alone 3 of these, especially in the same day :)

That's a bummer about CHAP 251 but maybe an upgraded track 16, if not the complete redo of the rip, will come along soon.

Snagged myself about 20 titles, but a fair number of the Zippy's were dead. Would love to see these re-upped in the future, especially the Kitsch Pop series and the CHRISTMAS title.
