Title: Multiple tracks mislabeled
Post by: Bronic on November 25, 2023, 03:00:42 PM
I have a curious case that seems more lazy than the typical trap music chopping library music. The track is from a 2008 release by a musical project called The Great Northwest:

The backing track of this song appeared in a 1973 episode of The Chapulin Colorado series, as shown in this video at the 0:28 mark. (https://www.vecindadch.com/videos/el-pistolero-veloz/) Fans of the show have been trying to identify cues and the impossibly hard to find tracks used in the show for more than a decade.

Clearly modern vocals were added to a pre-existing track in this case and the broken Youtube ID system mislabeled them. The EP release  (https://www.discogs.com/release/19820092-The-Great-Northwest-Coatsie-Country) contains 6 tracks and apparently no specific credits. The precise 60 seconds length of all tracks and style is a tell sign of its possible origin as library music. The full playlist  is on this link. The question is: What is the real source and correct name of those tracks?

In certainly came before 1973 and given the format and style probably from some American label.
