Hey Guys and Gals.
As promised, i present to you the link that contains, all bar 17, to make a full run of the 78's for the FDH library (including both 10'' and 12'' 78's)
mega.nz/folder/GQBTjTQK#Yv4vB9dzfhDUqiAUKF0fcw
I still need to transfer 10 78's (which i am guessing would be another gig or so)
And just as an FYI - There are only 7 78's that we would now need to complete a full run:
010
021
229
319
320
353
357
I hope you enjoy, and with greatest respect to any OP's that i have downloaded from, whereby your uploads will probably be included in this collection, and also to those external to the site that i have 'borrowed' from.
Addendum - As an FYI - this will be somewhat a collection of my own rips/internet archives and EMIPM and i am sure from uploads here - Despite having them all, aside from the 7 mentioned, i thought i would trim off sometime by adding those already transferred. Just being transparent as to give credit where credit is due!
I shall keep the mega links active for 1 month - but due to the size (26+gig) I will need to remove them to allow room for the next mass library upload - I shall probably do Impress next!
Enjoy

I think the folder could be a great idea. =)

Thanks for these FDH's! ;D I kinda wish I had enough storage to download these, but it's still fun to listen to these!

Many thanks for these The_Eleventh_Hour. I recognise many as having come from The Internet Archive which is an excellent resource for these gems. Though I question the wisdom in their archiving transfers from 78s at 24bit/96kHz but I shouldn't appear ungrateful for the hard work they put in. I look forward to listening to these FH&D recordings over the coming days.

Yeah, a good 100 or so came from Internet Archive. Saved me a lot of time transferring mine. I was going to de-click/de-hiss and de-pop & master them, but figured there would be a lot more people better than that, than me.
Cannot comment on the overall bitrate choice. Better than nothing though, i s'pose :)

I think George Blood, the company that carries out the digital transfers, actually apply de-click etc. They often list the stages of the transfer (size of stylii, noise reduction etc) in the description. 24bit/96kHz is certainly "better than nothing" :) but at such a high bit rate I wonder what more audio info they were hoping to capture from a 78? Rhetorical question. Let's not start another discussion on that subject!! ;)
