Here is an album by Gino Paolillo. Also published as "Musical Cross by Paolillo" on Radio Records in October 1973.
Perfect the alternating of jazz-funk and bossa numbers.
Tracks like "Xeus", "Neon" and "Cross" are very groovy. A powerful rhythm section, breaks, extensive use of horns and electric guitar solos are the main elements.
On the other hand tracks like "Seduzione", "Miraggio" and "Malia" are really enchanting.
Enjoy!

Holy smoke!
Can't believe my eyes (and ears!).
As I said in the other thread, I'm such a no faith being...
I couldn't have imagined that you could have this record Rocco, considering its rarity.
Extremely rare and beautiful. I envy you!
Keep it in a safe place, away from light and heat sources. Caress it, and say goodnight before bed.
LOL! I'm in ecstasy right now, while listening to "Xeus", sorry.
I love the alternation between funky and bossa tracks.
Listening to "Malia" right now, and reminds me to Maestro Alessandroni...
Pure gold. Thank you so much Rocco.
You were right Geo, never say never!

WOW!!! Thank you dude. Amazing.

Man... "Malia" has to be one of the best bossa tracks I've listened in last 5 years or so. Directily to me top bossa tracks ever.
Who is Gino Paolillo? To me it sounds like a mix between Alessandroni and Alfonso Santisteban (his mid 70's tracks on CAM sounds very very similar..)
-
Applause for this, Rocco... thanks a lot!
-
First listen this morning. I am speechless!
What an awesome record!
Thank you so much Rocco!

I totally agree with you!

I was wondering the same thing, as I never heard nothing about him. But Gino Paolillo is definitively a person/author in his own right, and apparently quite prolific (but not in the library field..)
And if you have a look to the labels pics in Rocco's file, you'll see the record is co-composed by one Vittorio Medaglia, and one Ottavio De Santis.. unknown to me as well.
But the three chaps put together a fantastic record indeed!

Many thanks, Rocco.

I want to thank again Rocco for this fantastic share, surely one of the best in 2022 for me.
This rip was immediately transferred to a CD, and from that moment the CD has always been close to the player in my living room, always ready for the umpteenth listening.
The digital file has also always remained on the computer, not yet transferred to the external hard drive, and is playing right now..
"Cross" is so beautiful!

I'm completely agree with Greta here.
For me its not the best share of 2022 but probably in LMT history. One of the best italian Libraries ever.
Thank you x100000 Rocco for this treasure. :)

Well on the basis of such positive reviews I must find out for myself. So thanks in anticipation Rocco for this share.
