Hello everyone,
I think an Allione is always good, so here is one.
In the mid seventies Paolo Ferrara made some beautiful records for the editions Flipper and Leonardi, but also a couple for Abramo Allione.
"La Vita e l'Amore" is still an interesting album.
There are three versions of a theme, all pretty groovy: "Cose di Tutti i Giorni", "Appuntamento in Centro" and "Al Mercato".
"Ora di Punta", for drums and percussion, is very nice too.
In addition some romantic tracks with classical influences as well as more rhythmic ones, among them "Piccola Lite" with flute in evidence.
Curiously the only title in English included in the album probably is spelled wrong, this is the sparkling "Schooping with you".
I wish you a nice Sunday.
Enjoy!

Stunning record Rocco, thank you very much!
You're absolutely right, Allione is always a good thing.
I've really enjoyed my listen this morning.
The three variations of the groovy theme, "Piccola Lite" (I love flute!) and also "Ciao, A Domani", just beautiful.
And thank you very much Rocco, also for re-posting all of your discoveries from the last two years, in the "Labels" section.

Many thanks Rocco
Just seeing the two words Abramo Allione inevitably gives me a warm feeling all over, especially when it's a new discovery.
The Brazilian style frantic drum workout of Ora di Punta is a definite highlight & I agree with Greta, the Piccola Lite track is excellent with its serious gnarly flute action!
