Among so many that have already been mentioned here (such as Alan Hawshaw and John Charles Fiddy, from Bruton), I need two:
Alan Moorhouse, and Steve Gray. These are mentions that I want to highlight.
But, I will soon make a more complete list. Still, it would be unfair, as I would certainly fail to mention someone.

I agree with Greta an impossible question to answer. Perhaps we should change the topic title to "List every composer you've ever heard of" to fit better with most of the responses so far!!! :) :) :)
-
True, in fact the ones I like the most are only 15 or 20 of the 639162836 that I have named above

Maybe we should rename the thread to How Many Library Composers Can You Name In A Single Post, hee, hee! Sorry, couldn't resist!
-
I'll start with the first one I became familiar with, and that's Don Voegeli (of course! ;D ), and then follow that up with favorite composers that I didn't know wrote library music (until I joined this list!):
Brian Eno (Roxy Music),
Bill Nelson (Be Bop Deluxe),
Andrew Clark (also Be Bop Deluxe),
Patrick Campbell-Lyons (UK Nirvana),
Henry Marsh (Sailor)
and Phil Pickett (also Sailor).
While I'm at it, I've got to add Delia Derbyshire.
(I just noticed that all of my entries, except for Voegeli, are British!)
-
David Lindup has always been one of my favourites. And he's just a great big band writer anyway - think of his scores for bands such as those of Ted Heath and Johnnie Spence.
