I've just decided to refurbish a bit this post cause the list had become kind of difficult to read, so I left only those that are still missing.
Many many thanks to all those kind guys who provided many, really many great records in these over three years since I first posted my wishlist.
In alphabetical order AMEN, baobab13, ChunYinZi, Eternas Ondas Musicales, John Fred, kebarvid, Krizl, Retronic, roope, [(Sub)], trkizbrki, Tuneboy
Forgive me if I'm forgetting someone...
And many thanks to the "new entries" as for shares: Blue_Phantom, Digga, grendizer1, Mr, oliverino, zibi67
Here the records I'm still looking for, plus some I'll be adding in the future I think. Kind of a dynamic whishlist.
Looking for LOSSLESS copies.
Thanks for reading.

Sorry Greta. We seem to share the same wants from this list. The majority I have as an MP3 but no FLAC, so if you haven't got them, I reckon they haven't been shared as lossless in the past. I don't have any Studio One albums, so may go on the hunt for some as I've not heard any of them before.
Regards, Tony
-
This is all I have, unfortunately. The majority in your list are either MP3 or missing from my own catalogue. I've never even heard of, Timing-DeWolfe!
Your welcome to the few I have got, though. The Bruton one is the CD version.

Thank you very much JF!
Just a couple of clarifications:
SO 20 is a mp3
SO 08 is a fake lossless
BRA 04 is not the LP release I was looking for but the CD from 2000
also
I forgot to delete from the list MON 37 and DWLP 3063 which were shared just before the crash
but
LPSG 4004 and SO 02 just hit the target!
Thanks again, two to tick off.
-
PS
never heard of Timing-De Wolfe??
I will share some for you. Beautiful label/sub-label!!

Thanks for letting me know about SO 20 and SO 08. I've amended my own descriptors on those albums accordingly. I did have a sneaking suspicion that BRA 04 wasn't what you were looking for, but included it anyway in a, 'better to give than not', kind of way. I did think MON 37 and DWLP 3063 looked familiar, but couldn't quite place where and when. But, I'm pleased I could help with 2 titles, at least. :)

I must admit I was almost losing hopes due to the recent crash, and I was not willing to bother asking again.
Truly appreciated Retro. Thanks!!

As for this, you're right. I didn't realize that BMLP 030 was the A side of BMLP 158. I will delete BMLP 030 from my list.

Mine are crap- and I'm not being modest! We could do something though- all use the same couple of source LPs and see what we come up with. I don't mind sharing crappy beats- we're all friends here ;D

I gave this one an Ultrasonic clean and am very pleased with the results. Granted it's not the best record there is but so nice to have such low noise levels and quiet parts being very quiet. From now on I'm going to clean everything before I rip it and aim for the best results I can.

Let's do it!! Just like Rhythm Roulette. I have been working on an album off and on for about 15 years where I just use samples from Library LPs, so it may be the kick-up the behind I need.
-
Thanks a lot Retronic. :)

I bought a decent cleaner after in the past using one of those 'bath' style ones with brushes where you manually spin the record around and the brushes clear out the grooves, but I found it pushed the grime further in (dust and water = mud). I thought I'd damaged a couple of good records because they sounded worse after cleaning but it was just dirt deep in the grooves.
This new one cleans and dries and although a bit sceptical I'm happy with the results.

Oh, I see. Just what I imagined. Great! I know Rocco is doing the same with his vinyls. The results look fantastic.

I'm glad Greta put me onto this thread, through looking for a couple of Brutons, as there's a heck of a lot of upgrades I would have possibly missed out on, otherwise!
Thanks to all contributors, especially Retronic!
-
Just updated my list, cause AMEN shared Bruton BRB 11 a while ago.
And while I'm at it, I bump it!
-
I cleaned this record three times to get as much of the noise as I could off of it- there are so many quiet patches it's difficult to get a great rip. Come out pretty well- with one bonus digital track to boot:

Not paying attention again! This thread seemed to have passed me by. Now rectified thanks to Greta's bump! Thanks so much Retronic for your generous shares. A single press on the download button pales into insignificance compared with the time you must have spent ripping and uploading these.

This is an LP made up of tracks from previous 10" releases so all tracks have been made available before but quality is decent and another gap filler.

Wow, what a great way to end the day on when I come home from a crap day at work. Big thanks for these Retro. All new for me these except 3236 above which is a nice upgrade. Thanks !
-
Ain't it great when that happens. Tomorrow will be a better day and it's great that on a crappy day we have the music and a place to pop to to try and elevate the spirit!
-
My goodness Retro you're spoiling us this afternoon. Thanks you so much for the shares and thanks to Greta for a brilliant wish list. And dare I say keep 'em coming....?! :)

Many thanks again Retro.
Pure early 80's gold.
I've just realized this is part of one "Serie Oceanica" which I never heard before.
Wondering what it is...
https://www.discogs.com/it/label/1594526-Serie-Oceanica
-
Yes, I saw that. That Discogs entry looks like a fan made page at first but could be the Italian distributer via Canopo:
clubdiva.ee/Various/Sound-Stage-2-Amphonic/11755
All releases 1981 so looks short lived and may not have new covers and just stickers or something.
-
Yes, Flipper editor.
But actually the words "Serie Oceanica" are printed on the rear covers.

-
Yess!!!!
Thank you so much Kebarvid.
*edit*
you're wrong Kebarvid, they're 6!!
And the other three could also be better versions, who knows...
You made me happy today!
Thanks again.
-
Thanks Retronic for the marvellous upgrade this Cal 4002!
Yes, indeed! Thanks for this one, Retro. My old mp3 rip of this is dated Dec. 2006! And it's 64 kbps! Lol
-
Found one more Bruton on your list:
BRB24: pixeldrain.com/u/JRe4CqFB (not my rip, probably found on slsk)
There are also a few i'm missing that's not on your list, so perhaps you or someone else can share those?

BRD 18 - Various Artists - Love Stories

Thank you Kebarvid, but that BRB24 is a badly upscaled mp3 (not even a 320k).

Tomorrow I'll have a look into it.

Bumping this cause I just ticked-off Peer PIL 9038 Hangover kindly shared by Retro a couple of days ago.
And I also take the opportunity to add some new records to my wishlist at the very first page of this topic. Actually, there would be quite a few more De Wolfe's I would like to add, but had no time tonight. That's a huge catalog...
Thanks in advance for watching and providing(?) whatever you might have handy.
Hasta la vista.

I definitely have the following on vinyl and if I'm going to share I'll clean the record and do a fresh rip. I'm in the mood for it today as I find the editing relaxing (unless it's one of those 100 short jingle tracks LPs) but out all day visiting relatives. Tomorrow the Christmas tree is going up and I'm hoping to squeeze in a Weekend Set. I'll do them over the coming weeks or at least dent it and no doubt we'll revisit again in the future. Decent enough? You're kidding me! These are way beyond enough. Thank you so much.
Not to be a whiner, but these days are terrible to me after the accident to my back (again!). Crawling around the house on one leg only, it seems no bed, couch or chair can give me a bit of rest.
Home from work and unable to do anything, boredom takes hold of me and the mood goes underfoot.
But these shares and the time they take me to listen to them and archive them, it's like a great medicine today, and for the days to come.
You made happy a poor old cripple person today. LOL
Thanks again.
oh, ps,
the DW Dogsbody I think is the same incomplete rip you provided the first time (9 tracks missing), that's why I didn't tick it off from the list
it's from the period when you were deleting the unwanted tracks so as not to fill up your portable player unnecessarily
not a big deal, I'll leave it there
-

Didn't read this first post, and there's no rush Retro.
My fav between the missing ones I think they're the Patchwork Orchestra 1 and Standards 142 and 144. I'd vote for those.
-
Excellent shares again, really appreciate it Retronic. :)
-
Big thanks Retronic.
-
Hey Greta. Sorry to hear about you struggling- you must get really fed up.
If the music helps in any way, that makes me happy. Just recording the Standards now.
-
Retronic, Thank you so much.
Great share
I wish you and everyone Happy holidays.

Many thanks for sharing these Retro. What with these and a8detective's mega share I'm really glad to have finally got fibre broadband installed last week in this out-of-the-way part of Normandy. Otherwise it would have taken until next Easter to download them all! Now I just need the time to sit down and audition them all.
Oh, and again, get well soon Greta. It sounds like you're in a really bad way. If it's any consolation I had an op on my shoulder on Thursday and my arm is in a sling. It means I'm having to do everything wrong-handed and dosed up with pain killers. Isn't life fun!
-
@ Retro - thanks mate, yes, the music is such a great adiuvant, in many ways.
@ nido - oh sorry to hear that, you're my companion of misfortune right now, and I know we're not alone here lately. Well, life could be downright ironic, I'd say.
-
I don't have time to edit these today so in the meantime here's unedited files:
ESL 140 - pixeldrain.com/u/ox4NzzT1
ESL 142 - pixeldrain.com/u/ZkqpSba3
-
Cool, Thanks Retro. No problem, me or anybody else who might beat me can do the edit job.
140 wasn't even on my list, thanks for the fresh rip. I never heard it before, not even in poor quality!
144 M.O.R was the one attracting me for its great vibes and rhythms.
Re-discovering the top quality of this label!
-
Oh, no worries. I can do 144 next time. Me rushing!!
-
Sure.
We got one extra for free, LOL. Good deal!
-
@ Retronic - Thanks for these additions. I didn't have any of the B&H's, and the Standards are great upgrades.
@ Greta - Sorry to hear you aren't 100% and wishing you a speedy recovery !
-
Thanks for these, Retro. Edited and tagged ESLs 140 & 142 here:
140 ==> h***s://mega.nz/file/woYjkaAb#WN1GJecVL4Ks1TAQBJjPaYaA_5MhG12SHza18yeyOSw
142 ==> h***s://mega.nz/file/A4YzEaaJ#ArvCJsU6awysB-iWj8MaHrehtHL8kD0C4yZd4DO8mxw
Do let me know if this isn't up to my usual standard only I'm doing this single-handed & left-handed with a right-handed mouse!! Unless I'm mistaken the timing for track 4 of ESL 142 recorded on Discogs is wrong. It's 5:48 rather than 4:50.
-
Thank you very much nido.
It looks all good to me, you're on your way to be a switch-hitter!

a BIG thank you to roope for Timing-De Wolfe TIM 10.

Oops..
I now realize you ripped April Vol.17 Retro, while I was looking for Vol.18.
Nevermind, a fresh new rip of Vol.17 is welcome too (which, for instance, is gonna replace the one I had, so..cool!)
-
Big upgrade for me too. Thank you Retro
-
Excellent shares, thank you very much Retronic and Tuneboy. :)

The tracks on this one were reissued/ reused for BMLP 150 - Drama/Tension but the latter LP omits three Don Banks tracks from the B-side which were only available on this 10 inch so worth having.
pixeldrain.com/u/nYsMqD13
I have heard these tracks in an old horror/ exploitation film- I can't remember which one but it was at the end with the bad guy/ killer in a warehouse up high looking down as people moved in to capture him or he was stalking someone.
-
Neat. Thank you Retro.
Yep, the three tracks omitted in BMLP 150 seem to have nothing to do with drama and tension, but they're the classical "calm after the storm" when things seem to be solved in the movie, right?
Unfortunately I can't help in locating the movie.
-
Super, thanks Retronic. No idea about the movie sadly. :) :(

Many thanks Retro.

Hi gang,
I've just refurbished the intro post and the list of this thread, leaving only the ones still missing.
I've just added a few De Wolfe's I'm looking for. Some are long awaited ones (the older ones), Webb's Children cause I'm trying to track down new Christmas and childrens new music, and few electronics from the early 80's which is the genre I'm diving in mostly in these weeks.
Also added some Hudson's. This label keeps staying under the radar someway...
Some Apollo's added and some spare ones here and there.
Thanks for watching, and take care.
G.

Going through this also made me realize i've had one of your wishes for well over 3 years. Just hadn't ripped it, but today i did, so please enjoy my fresh FLAC rip of:
MCN 8020 - Dave Sarkys - News Power (1980)
transfer.it/t/6JHszlxjnDDC
There is 60 & 30 versions of each track and they are in the same file.
-
Hey kebarvid,
thank you so much for MCN 8020!
As for MCN 8022, I have the Neuilly NLY P 2070 but it has few tracks less comparing to the Crea Sound release. So, yes, if you have the Crea Sound MCN 8022 rip I would be glad to have it.
Then, I have few of the ones you're asking for. Not all cause I didn't add all of my missings to my whishlist (but I think I will add some more now).
Well, I'll have a day off-work tomorrow, and I hope to be able to up them for you.
-
I realized I'll not have time tomorrow and managed to up them tonight.
Here is what you will find in the zip:

I've just added few Chappell CMM/DMM, just in case, and a couple more of Crea Sound/Mondiophone yesterday.
Thanks all for watching.

Thanks for the Disques Magellan/Patchwork albums Greta. I already had the digital remastered versions of some of them but, for reasons known to APM, they are incomplete. So it's good to get the full album.

Thanks Retro. As Tony says we all seem to have lossies of these so the FLACs will be a very welcome upgrade whether clean or dirty!
One question. What happened to the link to HMCSLP 530 or is it deliberately missing? If so .......Whodunnit?!! 😂😂

Was still Uploading and I had to pop out. Heading home now.

There are some long awaited missing gems you're sharing here.
A great Christmas present to me.
If I may, I'll leave the DWSLP 3410 Electro-Stride and the SMCLP 536 Patchwork Orchestra 1 still in my list, cause they're incomplete.
Just for you to know, Electro-Stride is missing tracks 1,5,55,56, while the Sylvester Patchwork is missing 6/8 tracks more or less.

Thanks loads for your continued shares under this topic Retro. There a number of upgrades from lossy for me here.
I wonder if at some point you might be able to re-rip HMCSLP 532 - Across The Board by Trevor Brown? The final two tracks on side 2 skip; Down At The Crown and Pint Of John Smith's. Just for completeness if nothing else.
-
Big thanks again for the new additions. I came here to post the same as Nidostar as gone through listening to quite a few of these and those two tracks do skip. Also, I noticed the audio was a bit poor so probably bit of dust on the vinyl as the others were spot on 8]
-
No worries- I can easily re-do it. ;)

Yesterday I added the remaining missing tracks along with the other folder. But adding those other tracks, along with the ones in this file, makes 71. If I remember correctly, the record has a total of 76 tracks. Am I wrong? Five more are missing. Retro, when you have a moment, would you be so kind as to find those missing tracks? Thank you in advance, and I wish you all a happy new year. :)
-
Yep, actually the rip is still missing tracks:
63 - pop goes..
63 - baa baa black sheep 1
65 - baa baa black sheep 2
66 - the grand old duke of york
67 - hop step jump
My bad too, cause when I asked Retro I told the tracks missing were less than they actually were.
-
I’m away right now but can do at the weekend most likely 🙂

Thank you Retro. Believe me, the completion of this rip was kind of fun.
Piece by piece we completed it, like when I was "young" and I used to do big puzzles.
Cheers.

***BIG UPDATE***
Hello all,
I've been working on my wishlist later, and decided to make it quite of definitive.
All the previously shared records have been eliminated from the list to make it shorter (lol!).
It's now updated with pretty much all of what I'm looking for (except for the Italian stuff which is too hard to come by and it would deserve a separate list).
Don't get me wrong please, the list now is absolutely huge, but I'm pretrending nothing other that one here or there whenever it could come by hand.
Also, the list works as a reminder and a help to myself, to keep track of what I'm looking for.
So please, take a look and be welcome to share whatever you might have handy.
Thanks for reading.
-
DW/LP Tooth For a Tooth was recently shared, Greta. Not at home but you should find it.
-
You're right Retro. The "holy grail" you found lately. And then also oliverino's digital reissue.
I was on the moon while compiling the list...
-
Wow, you've got most of my most wanted from my list, too!
However, I thought you already commented on my post of my rip of Conroy BMLP 100, thanking me for the album, so it looks like you already have that one, especially in FLAC.
-
Of course yeah. It got left attached by mistake.
Thanks again for that.
-
Beautiful collection, I hope we can have upgrades of them all! I have a few of these and will put them on my to-do list :D
-
Good news. Thanks Mr.

(gorgeous record, but my copy is unfortunately a veery well-worn and crackly one that someone apparently nicked from the BBC Gramophone Library.)
-
Very many thanks Mr. These are certainly upgrades to my lossy or incomplete copies. Just one thing, the Frank Cordell album is LPC 1064 not 1067.
-
Many thanks Mr.
Yep, LPC 1064 is the best of the three, but it's quite well listenable despite its misfortune. I am satisfied nonetheless!
-
Today is Southern Sunday - two more for you, freshly ripped! :)

Wow! Two top-notch here.
The lovely EURO 06 which contains a couple of tracks I've been after since a long time in lossless format ("Lost Love" above all and "Lonely").
And the great Minotaure 1...I love everything from this label. The tipycal mid 70's jazz/funk/prog/rock sound, the beautiful cover, the logo...
Thanks a ton!!!

Lotus Landscape by Frank Cordell on LPC 1064 is such a treat, thank you, Mr. 8]

Thanks for the Minotaure Mister Mr.!!
Anything from the early to mid 70's that's funky or psychedelic or jazzy - anything OTHER than a disco-like sound - is right up my alley! And if it has flutes, all the better!
