Let's restart this, shall we? Hi. I'm C0NN1E. Among researching heavily into library music, I also have a talent for remaking very old library music logos. Feel free to ask me about requests.

Thanks again, C0NN1E!

Bruton Grid. Maybe the logo too, but that's actually less interesting, because the Bruton logo is usually dropped in over a solid color, so a bitmap does pretty well…

Just out of curiosity, what software do you use? I used to practice copying logos, years ago, when I learned how to use Illustrator.

Used to use Illustrator in high school. I use Inkscape now.

I just made this.

That one should be simple. Five me some time and I'll do it. I do plan on using all these of the wiki. Things have just remained hard lately, sorry about that. I appreciate all the help you've done in it :)

Did MML and Galaxy Music Lexicon! MML was so challenging to pull off, but I managed in the end.
Font for Galaxy is Bernhard Antique.

Very nice job on these! The MML one looks great

How about FDH Mood Music

How about FDH Mood Music
Sure, I can do that.
I think the user a8detective might enjoy this one. Hopefully you see this! I did it after checking out their avatar and finding the label from there. This one was super fun to do. The Saint Germain Des Pres logo :D

Rocco, if you also see this, I think you'll like this one. It was super simple, so I had no trouble digitizing it. For those unaware, it's from the Italian Rotary library label.

These look great, nice job. Very handy for homemade compilations, thank you.

Thanks for the kind words! Someone's gotta digitise these old logos! I believe it's important for historical purposes as well and I'm glad people have some use for them :>
Here's yet another one; Iota Background Music Library. If anyone is aware if there's another logo for them, let me know. This one is very abstract :p

Vary impressive. Clean, sharp and clear logos which look so much fresher in digital form. Thank you CONN1E.

Hello guys and gals,
can I leave a request? I have only terribly pixelated cover art (from NICHION) that I'd rather want to replace with a clean logo until maybe in the future, the real deal surfaces.
Is it possible that one of you could remake AIRCRAFT MUSIC and AMPHONIC/SOUNDSTAGE logos so I can use it and Photoshop my placeholder cover for my files?
I'd be grateful!
-
Fine work, Connie. I am genuinely curious what projects people are using these logos for? I have to admit I had no clue that clean digitalized library logos were in such high demand.
-
This one?

-
That is half of what I needed, but exactly that! :D
I want to get the "soundstage" banner on top, put the (low-res) cover art from NICHION in the middle and the Amphonic-A (that you have here) on the bottom.
But I just noticed that the vinyls have a nice banner on them, so I might just use them instead.
I know it's a bit of a "Hackjob" - especially since the banners have, to my knowledge, only be used on the LPs but some of my tracks are from the CD series which don't use the logo anymore. But in the end, it's Amphonic, it's Sound Stage, it's the pixelated, but real, non-reissued cover, so I would be okay with it.
For Aircraft, I already use placeholders, but they are so blurred...
EDIT: Ironically, the whole screenshot is blurred. D'OH!

OMINMUSIC has a nice, clean "placeholder" for their sleeves:

Here you go, you should be able to customize it to your liking!

Incredible!!
Now I can fix up this pixelated mess.
Can you see if you can get me the Aircraft banner, too?
-
Psyclon, do you mind asking C0NN1E for the last one, I am afraid I need to jump on another work project, thanks
-
Ah, it is alright. I forgot to actually post that the website has a nice, big logo that, when scaled down to reasonable size, looks fine.
The soundstage logo though is fantastic!

Its on Page 1 of the thread.

I think it depends. I know WSBG used the impress one in some of his library music videos, and then I guess other people are using the logos for their personal music collection as covers or something along those lines.
-
Indeed. As I collect digitally only, I am reliant on the covers they provide. If it's a pixelated mess, I don't want it to be made even bigger.
So I build my own covers - not great, but it uses the right colours, the right logo obviously and even the actual cover art (as you can see, heavily pixelated).

Same problems with the AIRCRAFT labels, which suddenly stop from being the actual covers to some 2010'ish re-issue. I'd rather have one clear Aircraft Logo with maybe a font they use (which I will extract from my browser's cache after I entered their website).
But since the font is not used anywhere, I used a font search engine, and: Oh yeah :)
And now I make my own, standardized covers with again the proper logo and proper fonts to replace the weird re-issues...

Nice work, Psyclon. And my thanks to you and Connie for answering my query.
